Cookie Policy

Effective May 1, 2026

Postify uses a small, transparent set of cookies. This page lists every cookie we set, why we set it, and how to control it. Questions? Email privacy@postify.to.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. Some are essential for the site to work (e.g. keeping you logged in), others help us understand how the service is used so we can make it better.

2. Essential cookies (always on)

  • postify_session — keeps you logged in. Expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity.
  • postify_csrf — protects against cross-site request forgery. Session-only.
  • postify_prefs — remembers UI preferences (theme, sidebar collapse). 1 year.

3. Analytics cookies (opt-out)

  • ph_session — PostHog product analytics. Helps us see which features are used and where users get stuck. EU-hosted.
  • ph_distinct_id — anonymized pseudonymous ID for product analytics.

4. We do not use ad-tracking cookies

No third-party advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels. No social-network like buttons that phone home. We have never sold a list and never will.

5. Managing cookies

  • The first time you visit, you can accept or decline analytics cookies.
  • You can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy.
  • Most browsers let you block cookies entirely; the service may not work fully if you do.

6. Updates to this policy

If we add or change a cookie, we update this page and (for material changes) email workspace admins. The effective date at the top is always the version in force.
